Great Tour of Rocky Mountain National Park
tamraedavis, October 2026
This tour was great! Our guide, James, was very knowledgeable about the entire area. He was also so funny. We laughed for much of the tour. The elk rut hadn't started yet, so there were not a lot of elk in Estes Park. He took us to one spot not far from downtown to show us about 6-7 elk before heading to RMNP. The funny thing is those were the only elk we saw. He tried and tried to find us wildlife, but they were hiding that day. The ride and scenery were amazing, though. One person lost their hat on the way back. He turned the jeep around and went back to get it. We would highly recommend this tour. We plan on going back in 2 years, and we will definitely book again.

Our guide Michael, could not have been a better educator, entertainer, and encourager. He took the highest road, literally, and went out of his way (numerous times) to provide a wonderful and satisfying Rocky Mountain National Park tour experience for all of us. He knows multiple routes like the back of his hand as well as the probability of seeing various kinds of wildlife on each route. Our safety and comfort was always Michael’s primary concern. Each of us on the tour was very grateful. Thank you again Green Jeep Tours, especially its caring owner snd her sweet doggie, Dolly!
