KAYAKS: These are tandem kayaks, unless there's a weight issue or an odd number of participants (weight limit is 425 lbs for tandem, 350 lbs for solo). Contact us 24 hours in advance if weight is a concern.
CHILDREN: Suitable for ages 3 and up. Each child requires a booking. Please text us before booking if you have more than one child under the age of 5.
ARRIVAL: Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early (e.g., 7:45 AM for an 8:00 AM tour) for the mandatory safety briefing. Late arrivals will be considered no-shows and will not receive a refund.
LOCATION: Meet at City Island Park, 1799 Ken Thompson Pkwy, Sarasota, at the roundabout. Ample free parking is available, but there are no restrooms. Wind, weather, or traffic conditions may necessitate a change in the launch site or time. We will send you the updated address and directions via text and email approximately 90 minutes before your tour.
RAIN OR SHINE: Tours are only canceled due to unsafe conditions, such as lightning or high winds.
MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS: A minimum of 4 guests is required for the tour to proceed. If this minimum is not met, we will offer alternative dates, a different location, or a full refund.
RESCHEDULING: Bookings that have been rescheduled are non-refundable. The 24-hour cancellation policy will no longer apply.

We did this adventure the evening of the 17th. We were originally scheduled for the Sarasota location at 9:30 but due to weather we were moved to the Siesta Key launch site.
Communication and directions were fantastic and made it very easy to navigate to the proper place. On arrival our guides, Travis and John were friendly and helpful, getting us acquainted with the trip and the equipment.
We launched right on time and it was a new experience setting out in a small craft on a large body of water in the dark. But so exciting! The tide wasn’t cooperating very well and we hit a few unexpected sandbars but that just added to the fun. Being over 100 yards off shore and climbing out of the kayak into water just over your ankles is very interesting, to say the least.
Travis and John were fantastic guides and kept up a steady stream of information about the area and potential sightings. We would definitely love to take the trip again with these two. We kept having small needle fish jump in the boat with us (a real adventure to get them out!) and on the return trip I was “assaulted” by a large mullet jumping out of the water, hitting my arm, and ending up in the back of the kayak. Travis had a real time getting that one caught and released!
This is an adventure that we would definitely repeat when we return to the area. Thanks Travis and John for a memorable trip.

Toar guide was fun we had some laughs as we were canoeing thru the night finding crabs and other creatures in the night. Guide gave us a bit of an educational experience as well gave us some history of the place and gave us information on what we caught. Fun little adventure.
