Prepare for an exciting and unique adventure as you swim alongside stingrays, some of the most gentle sea creatures on Earth! Stingray City, featured in National Geographic Magazine, is the most famous attraction in the Cayman Islands. Here, 30 to 40 friendly Southern Atlantic stingrays gracefully swim in clear, calm waters about 3 to 5 feet deep, eagerly awaiting their next meal.
This phenomenon began by chance in the mid-1980s when fishermen, returning to port, would anchor in the calm Sound to clean their catch and discard bait. The stingrays, attracted by the scent of fish, soon grew accustomed to this 'free meal' and remained in the area. Today, these rays are regularly fed squid by divers and snorkelers. Your Native Way instructors will guide you on how to interact with these magnificent animals in this one-of-a-kind natural setting.

Awesome Tour!
N377MEannb, October 2026
Great trip! With the personable and engaging captain Sheldon and his co-captain Leland we had a really great trip! His boat was in topnotch condition, very comfortable, with options to be on the upper or lower decks. Their knowledgeable and friendly personalities added to the fun of the interesting time at Stingray Sandbar (where they made sure we each had interaction with stingrays), beautiful Snorkeling spot and fun stop at Starfish Point. Highly recommend this Tour!!

Captain Sheldon & Crew...

Captain Sheldon & Crew Leland ensured that everyone onboard from the youngest child to the most senior participant had the best experience. The smaller group size made it extremely enjoyable. Everyone had the opportunity to participate as much or as little as they wanted. 10/10 would recommend.

The whole experience was top notch. Easily found our meeting point and transfers were seamless to and from the cruise terminal. Our captain, Sheldon, was awesome. It was the best snorkeling I have yet to experience. The stingrays were truly friendly and gentle. Book this experience, it will not disappoint!
