Absolutely First Class - An Unforgettable Day at Tortuga Island!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Costa Cat Cruises! My wife, our nine-year-old son, and I took their day cruise to Tortuga Island, and it was truly one of the highlights of our vacation in Costa Rica.
The cruise to and from the island was fantastic, with great music, a fun atmosphere, and an incredibly attentive crew. But as enjoyable as the boat ride was, our time on Tortuga Island was even better! We spent the day snorkeling, riding the banana boat, exploring the jungle trails, and simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Every part of the experience was exceptional.
What truly set Costa Cat apart, however, was the extraordinary level of customer service. And I don’t say that lightly. I’ve traveled extensively and enjoyed many wonderful excursions, but I honestly cannot remember experiencing a crew that was more attentive, personable, or genuinely committed to making sure every guest had an incredible time.
From the moment we stepped aboard and introduced ourselves, the crew remembered our names for the entire day. That may seem like a small detail, but it speaks volumes about the level of personal attention they provide. We never once felt like we needed to ask for anything. The crew was constantly anticipating our needs, checking on us, and making sure we were comfortable and having a great time. Their hospitality was simply outstanding.
A special shout-out to Aaron and Cesar, who took exceptional care of us throughout the day. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality truly stood out, while the rest of the crew was equally amazing and contributed to making the entire experience so memorable.
The food and drinks were equally impressive. The drinks were fantastic, and the lunch served on the island was absolutely delicious—far exceeding what I would typically expect from a day excursion.
Another huge advantage is that Costa Cat has its own dedicated area on Tortuga Island, complete with chairs, bathrooms, and facilities for its guests. Not having to compete with other visitors for seating or amenities made the entire experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable.
It was clear from beginning to end that customer service is not just something Costa Cat talks about—it is genuinely at the heart of everything they do. Every crew member we encountered reflected that commitment, and it made an already beautiful destination into a truly unforgettable experience.
If you’re considering a trip to Tortuga Island, I cannot recommend Costa Cat Cruises highly enough. The scenery, activities, food, and facilities were all excellent, but the crew is what makes this company truly exceptional.
Five stars without hesitation. We would absolutely book with Costa Cat again!

Everything was wonderful!

We were able to see deer, wild pigs, macaws, iguanas, and a variety of birds; we went snorkeling, on a banana boat, and for a walk around the island that can last between 15 to 30 minutes depending on what you want to do; the guides are super kind and their English is very good; it was very nice, thank you for everything! 🌸☀️
