Itinerary

1
Stop 1: Kokarsteinen
Duration: 10 minutes. Kokarsteinen was a historical stopping point for travelers needing food, rest, or shelter. Look for the distinctive stone construction. Restrooms are available when the cafeteria is open (fee applies).
· 10 min
2
Stop 2: Viewpoint by the Sea
Duration: 10 minutes. En route to this viewpoint, we pass the historic Rose Church in Stordal, built in 1789. Enjoy another stunning viewpoint near Liabygda. Observe the salmon fish farm to your left and the town of Stranda, home to the Grandiosa pizza factory, to your right. Across the fjord, you can see the route towards Geiranger and Hellesylt. The mountain farm Skrednakken, visited by Queen Sonja, is visible to the upper left. Don't miss the chance to capture some memorable photos.
· 10 min
3
Gudbrandsjuvet
Duration: 20 minutes. Gudbrandsjuvet is a dramatic river gorge carved by the Valldøla river. The water flows through the gorge at surprising angles before plunging down the valley. The gorge features large potholes formed by the water's force. This popular tourist attraction boasts platforms and bridges made of glass and weathered iron. A cafeteria and free restrooms are available on site. We highly recommend trying their delicious Salmon baguette.
· 20 min
4
Stop 4: The Old Bridge at Krikebrua
Duration: 20 minutes. Prepare to be amazed by Mother Nature at this incredible stop! We'll pause at a small area with a free restroom and seating. A short 3-4 minute walk across the road leads us to an old bridge (built in 1891) and a beautiful waterfall and river above. The bridge is a remarkable stone construction, built without concrete or steel. Please dispose of your trash in the bins provided on the bus.
· 20 min
5
Trollstigen
Duration: 45 minutes. This is the primary stop of our tour, offering two viewpoints. The first viewpoint is a 5-minute walk from the bus, with the best viewpoint a 10-minute walk away. Paths to the viewpoints are paved and equipped with sturdy safety fences. A souvenir shop and free restrooms are available. The cafeteria offers sandwiches, coffee, soft-serve ice cream, and hot meals.
· 45 min
6
Trollstigen foothill viewpoint
Duration: 10 minutes. We descend from Trollstigen towards Trollstigen Gjestegård. A photo stop will be made after Stigfoss. This stop is applicable from July 15, 2025.
· 10 min
7
Stop 7: Trollstigen Gjestegård
Duration: 25 minutes. Our final stop on the tour. Trollstigen Gjestegård features a large souvenir shop and a cafeteria. Restrooms are also available.
· 25 min

Breathtaking scenery and an amazing guide!
Elia_T, October 2026
We had the most amazing time on this tour to Trollstigen! Surprisingly, it was just my partner and me, so we basically got a private VIP tour. A special thank you to our guide: he was so kind, polite, and patient with our basic English, and he spoke in a way that was very easy for us to follow. The landscapes we saw are honestly some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life. An absolute 5-star experience!

Norway is spectacular and Trond is even better.
Z3199MNryans, October 2026
Just book this one. Seriously. Fantastic scenery, fjords, waterfalls, trolls; everything Norway in one amazing tour. On top of that, Trond is a fantastic guide who genuinely enjoys every minute of what he does. You simply won't find a better experience.

Fabulous customer service!
Jennifer_S, October 2026
To begin with, there were only four of us on the tour, which made the experience more personal. The owner, Trond, was also our driver. He was extremely personable and engaged in conversation with us along the way. Before we began our tour, Trond passed out maps of the area and a beautiful booklet outlining the stops on our tour. Sadly, the weather was not cooperating the day we went, and we were not able to see anything at all from the top of Trollstigen. However, we were able to enjoy the other stops on the tour. Due to construction on the way down, we returned the same way we went up and as compensation for the missed sites, Trond treated us to a picnic lunch near a waterfall. All in all, this was a wonderful day. We were sad not to see Trollstigen, but highly recommend the tour company and this tour on a clearer day!
