We hope to provide you with our best safari experience. Come and visit us. Udawalawe National Park is situated on the border of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. The park was established to offer a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, and to safeguard the reservoir's catchment area.

We had an absolutely incredible 5-star experience exploring the national park! We were fortunate enough to see so many of the amazing animals that call the park home, but the absolute highlight was being blessed to have multiple herds of elephants right within touching distance of our jeep—a truly breathtaking and memorable moment. A special shoutout to our guide, Gimhana, who made the whole trip so exceptional. He was extremely informative, friendly, and answered every single question we had about the wildlife and the park itself with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! Everything was brilliantly organised by Buddhika, including excellent private transport from our hotel and back, making the whole trip completely hassle-free. Our driver, Gimhana, was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. The safari jeep was excellent and the experience itself was unforgettable. We saw well over 20 elephants in their natural habitat, along with buffalo, eagles and plenty of other wildlife. A real highlight of our family holiday in Sri Lanka. Couldn’t recommend the experience, or the team, highly enough!
