Salar de Uyuni
We arrive at the vast Salar de Uyuni, covering 12,000 square kilometers. In this area, we will visit the 'eyes of the salt' (natural openings where salt water emerges under high pressure).
We will also see the world flags, the Dakar monument, and enjoy a perspective photo session and fun videos with our expert driver-guide.
Lunch will be served on-site.
Before reaching Incawasi Island, located 120 km from Uyuni in the center of the salt flat, we will take a 15-minute walk across the salt.
Incawasi Island is an extraordinary, otherworldly place covered with giant cacti (7 to 10 meters high). It's a flat white sea of hexagonal salt tiles, inhabited by vizcachas (Andean rodents). This 'Fish Island' is an oasis with a unique ecosystem, offering photographers some of the best opportunities in the world.
