Great way to explore Cadiz

Great way to explore Cadiz. Alejandro was very informative and had a very easy communication style. The pace of the tour was good and all questions were answer. If you want to get your bearings of the city then this is a very good way to spend 2 hours.

A great introduction to Cadiz.

Rocio is a skilled and knowledgeable guide. She led our group through parks, plazas and narrow streets, describing the most significant attractions and providing deep cultural, political and historical context. She was honest and forthright but always with a sense of humor. I loved the way she used her fan to visualize the geography of Cadiz!

Disappointing

The Viator location "live" app lags behind and we spent 30 min chasing the group down. The main complaint is no mention of people in history." The kings" they... We had to ask for clarification several times on dates and who she was referring to.. incorrect information given on role of Ferdinand and Isabella's rule. 20 min stop at Carnival museum? Shocking at such historical bias. It felt like the tour was used to complain about persecution of Muslims more than anything else. She also left 15 people behind for 7 minutes. Maybe use an umbrella to give large groups a way to see her. Brush up on history and focus on that rather than bias against Christians. No acknowledgement of good things Catholics did for Spain. The Inquisition was horrible. But shouldnt be the focus of the tour. Cadiz was an important port and thrived for many years.

10/10 - the highlight of my visit to Cádiz

I was incredibly lucky to stumble across this walking tour, and even luckier to have Alba as the guide. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, patient and engaging, and it was obvious throughout the tour that she has a genuine passion for Cádiz and its history.
She was also fluent in English, which made everything effortless to follow. Her explanations were clear, natural and detailed, and she was able to answer questions with real depth without ever making things feel overly academic.
What I appreciated most was how open she was to questions. I asked her countless things along the way and she never once made me feel as though I was interrupting or slowing the tour down. She was always happy to explain things further, add context and go beyond the basic facts. She genuinely brought the city to life.
Alba also has a wonderful way with people. I joined the tour as a stranger among a group of people I didn’t know, but she created such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that I quickly felt comfortable interacting with everyone else. By the end, it felt far more personal and communal than simply following a guide around the city.
She even took the time afterwards to recommend places I hadn’t known about, including Castillo de Santa Catalina and Castillo de San Sebastián, which helped me get even more out of my time in Cádiz.
What made the experience even nicer was how modest she was despite clearly knowing the city inside out. She was simply a pleasure to spend time with: warm, approachable, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in making sure everyone enjoyed themselves.
This walking tour was without question one of the highlights of my visit to Cádiz, and for such a modest price it represents incredible value. I’m very grateful I happened to book it and I wish Alba all the very best. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone wanting to properly understand and experience Cádiz.
10/10 - absolutely worth doing.
