Great 4h marine safari, lots of playful dolphins, penguins and variety of birds on an island and 2 sitings of a whale. knowledgeable staff , small friendly group on boat with opportunity to move sbout as wish. Overall an excellent trip , including great views of the coast

An amazing morning out on the water all the staff are really knowledgeable on all the marine/bird life. Saw plenty of action too with dolphins, whales, penguins, seals and lots of other birds.
They do a banging cheese roll on board, and the fact they do this all for a good research cause is the icing on top of the cake.

Their knowledge of these waters and their approach to marine life are truly impressive. They follow strict approach guidelines when encountering marine animals and carefully limit exposure times to minimise disturbance and respect the wildlife in its natural habitat.
Money well spent! The money you spend on their tours genuinely goes towards supporting their conservation efforts and research. They have so many amazing initiatives that they actively work on, from planting indigenous plant species and removing invasive ones to offsetting the carbon footprint of their trips by planting trees.
They also publish their findings independently, without being influenced by companies, allowing them to share their research honestly and objectively. Their work is critical to understanding what is happening in these waters and investigating population declines in species such as penguins.
I genuinely think these guys are awesome, and we had an amazing tour. It's great to see a company putting so much effort into protecting the environment and contributing to scientific research. Thank you so much, guys, for an incredible experience!

This was an extraordinary experience. Karen meticulously arranged everything and gave us really good advice. Once out on the sea, every moment was mesmerising. The crew made every effort to watch and observe the mammals, without rushing. The explanations about habitat and behavoliour were scientific and well researched. Thank you.

A whale of a time

Truly a once in a lifetime experience and would highly recommend this experience! Not only were the crew well informed on the animals, history and conservation of Algoa Bay, they were also welcoming, engaging with us every step of the way. The excursion lasted around 4 and a half hours with no delays- you will definitely receive your money’s worth! The boat ride itself was comfortable with ample space for all guests to move freely and view the beautiful creatures from all angles!
