Highly recommended
jake_latham, October 2026
Very much enjoyed our tour with Ion and whale watch Tenerife. The boat is comfortable, the trip is educational, and of course seeing the wildlife is rewarding. I particularly liked the very respectful manner in which the animals and the resources are treated. Ion was well-spoken, friendly, completely fluent in English and Spanish, and a gracious host. Our 10 and 13yo boys enjoyed the trip as well. Highly recommend.

Incredible!!
olgamV4584MX, October 2026
My partner and I booked and it was incredible, we saw many short-finned pilot whales, always respecting their space, we were able to listen to them with the hydrophone and it was very cool, and they also send you a drive with photos of the little animals you have spotted. Ion, the skipper/biologist is a machine, very very approachable, you can tell he likes his job, he explains everything great and in both languages, if we return to Tenerife it is an experience that we would repeat without a doubt, thanks Ion!!❤️

AI suggested this would make a good outing - and it was right! Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. He spoke multiple languages. We saw a huge amount of Pilot Whales, we saw Turtles & Dolphins too. The boat was small and speedy. This added to our enjoyment. 100% recommend.

Best boat trip of my life
771kriszti_np, October 2026
It was a unique and amazing experience. I 1000% recommend it for everyone and it worth the money. The tour is 2 hours and you are in a very small boat (only 10 people) which already give the feeling of a private trip. The boat is not going on a pre defined route. Based on the day, weather conditions (and tips what the captain get from his friends on the radio) he goes to the places where we have the most chance to see animals. We were lucky and found 3 big groups of whales The captain (lon) was friendly, tunny and very knowledgeable. He tells you a lot of interesting information about the whales and dolphins. Overall it can really recommend it for anyone who visit Tenerife.

Thank you so much Kriss for your fantastic review and recommendation! 🐋😊 We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience with Captain Ion and were lucky enough to encounter three large groups of whales! Every trip is different, and we always do our best to find the best spots based on the weather and the latest information. We’re happy you appreciated the small-group experience and learned so much about these amazing animals. Thank you for choosing us during your visit to Tenerife, and we hope to welcome you aboard again in the future! 🌊 Take care 💙
