The renowned Kaituna River is a rafter's paradise, offering a 50-minute exhilarating ride through 11 spectacular rapids and 3 wild waterfalls, including the world's highest rafted waterfall at 7 meters. All this unfolds within a deep, jungle canyon with warm waters.
Combined with our legendary guides, it promises a perfect day out!
This is an exciting GRADE 5 RAFTING EXPERIENCE. The weight limit is 120 kgs, and the minimum age is 13, with a maximum age of 65.
Our rafting base in Okere Falls is ideally situated in a sunny spot, bordered by a scenic reserve and the Kaituna River. We are the most convenient and accessible company to the river.
The native scenic reserve features a beautiful walking trail offering views of many Kaituna River rapids, and a charming café is nearby.
This makes for a fantastic half-day excursion to this stunning Rotorua region.
Please note: This is an exciting GRADE 5 RAFTING EXPERIENCE and is NOT SUITABLE for older or larger individuals, or those uncomfortable in water. The weight limit is 120 kgs.

Our MEETING ADDRESS is - "18 OKERE FALLS ROAD, OKERE FALLS , NZ". Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the trip's start time.
You can easily find our rafting base using Google Maps. It's a large red and yellow building on your right.
Please bring swimwear, shorts, a towel, and perhaps some extra money for photos.
We are GoPro friendly, so feel free to bring yours. Photos are available for purchase after your rafting trip for $50.

Tip: We are located right next to the Okere Falls Scenic Reserve. If you arrive early, you can enjoy a 30-minute walk in the reserve and view the waterfalls you'll be rafting over!

Really great experience.
Our guide Jared was amazing, made us feel safe and comfortable. He knew what he was doing and we had an amazing time.
We were a group of 4, so a nice small crowd. Atmosphere was pretty laid back.
