One Day Tour Success
AnnieO975, October 2026
GREAT experience and opportunity to get out of the city for a day. Despite the rain and cooler weather, we had a fabulous time. Jay was our tour guide and he was fun, helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable.
Zaanse Schans felt very touristy and crowded but Jay made up for it by stopping at a local farm store off the beaten path. In fact, that stop and with the locals and the fresh fruit was probably the highlight of the tour. Absolutely would recommend this to other visitors.

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide Sharon. Visiting inside the windmills was fantastic and the cheese and clog demos were very good too.

Relaxing Small Group Windmill Tour
B4311GIthomasm, October 2026
This is a great 3 1/2 hour non-bike riding tour. Took about 20 minutes to get to the area where the windmills were. Transportation was comfortable and modern. David was our tour guide and did a fantastic job, giving us a lot of great information as well as history about the windmills and the Netherlands. We also enjoyed the demo on how the Dutch wooden shoes were made. The highlight of the tour, though was walking inside and up into an actual working Dutch windmill. The smaller group tour also made it quite relaxing.

Fun tour -- just three hours from start to finish, and it was perfect. The weather cooperated, and it was a beautiful day. So much to see, and our tour guide was charming and informed.
