About the activity

Just 20 minutes from downtown San José, immerse yourself in the rainforest's grandeur at the Carpintera Hills. Soar between trees suspended from steel cables, experiencing the thrill of the canopy. As you journey through the forest reserve, keep an eye out for sloths, diverse bird species, and lush flora. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Central Valley, Poás Volcano, Irazú Volcano, and the Tres Marías Hills. The Canopy Tour combines three exciting activities: a short 15-minute hike, navigating 19 platforms connected by 13 cables, with the longest stretching approximately 1500 feet (500 meters), and two rappelling descents (40 and 10 meters).
