Ahmed se aseguró de que disfrutáramos plenamente de la mezquita, que era una maravilla. Mención especial a las explicaciones detalladas. El zoco fue una experiencia brillante, ya que nuestro guía se aseguró de que visitáramos los puestos y la tienda de dulces de mejor calidad. Compramos y comimos incienso, entre otros artículos. Nos cuidaron muy bien y lo recomendaríamos encarecidamente.

¡Nuestro viaje con Khalid fue literalmente increíble de principio a fin! Es un guía tan amable, simpático y profesional, y ha hecho que nuestra experiencia en Mascate sea verdaderamente inolvidable.
Visitamos la Gran Mezquita del Sultán Qaboos, la Ópera Real de Mascate, el Palacio Al Alam, varios fuertes hermosos y monumentos históricos y, por supuesto, el zoco de Mutrah. Cada lugar que visitamos era absolutamente hermoso, pero lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial fue tener a Khalid con nosotros.
Khalid tiene un conocimiento increíble sobre Omán. Compartió muchísima información fascinante sobre la cultura, las tradiciones, la historia y el patrimonio omaníes, y explicó todo con mucha pasión y entusiasmo. Realmente se nota que ama a su país y que está orgulloso de compartir su belleza y su historia con los visitantes.
También fue muy respetuoso, servicial, acogedor y genuinamente atento durante todo el viaje. Gracias a él, no solo visitamos lugares hermosos, sino que realmente aprendimos sobre el espíritu de Omán y lo experimentamos.

Lo mejor de mi visita a Omán

Khalid convirtió lo que podría haber sido un tour estándar por la ciudad en uno de los puntos culminantes de mi viaje.
Desde el momento en que nos conocimos, tuvo una presencia tranquila y acogedora que me hizo sentir cómodo de inmediato. Es de voz suave, genuinamente amable y excepcionalmente culto sobre Mascate, Omán, el islam y el resto de Oriente Medio. Ninguna pregunta estaba fuera de lugar. Ya fuera sobre historia, religión, cultura o actualidad, respondió de forma reflexiva y honesta sin hacer nunca que la conversación pareciera apresurada.
Durante el recorrido visitamos la magnífica Gran Mezquita del Sultán Qaboos, exploramos el zoco de Mutrah, vimos el Palacio Al Alam e incluso condujimos hacia las montañas para obtener una perspectiva completamente diferente de la ciudad. Por el camino, Khalid me dio a probar café omaní, dátiles, dulces y tradiciones locales, haciendo que la experiencia pareciera auténtica en lugar de guionizada.
Lo que más destacó fue lo personal que resultó el día. Nunca sentí que me estuvieran llevando deprisa de una atracción a otra. En cambio, se sintió como pasar el día con un amigo local que realmente quería compartir su país, su cultura y un vistazo a su propia vida. Me sentí completamente seguro todo el tiempo, me encontré riendo durante todo el día y terminé con una apreciación mucho más profunda de Omán y su gente.
Si estáis pensando en hacer un tour en Mascate, no lo dudéis. Khalid no solo es un guía excepcional, es una persona genuinamente buena. Espero que nuestros caminos se vuelvan a cruzar algún día.
