Wow! Vera Figi!!

Un'esperienza figiana unica e coinvolgente! Il giro in jet boat è stato un viaggio unico e ventoso - ventoso (brezzoso e tortuoso) attraverso la natura delle Figi, con molti abitanti del luogo che uscivano a salutare e guardare le barche sfrecciare. Il tour del villaggio aveva un buon ritmo ed è stata una bella visita con i membri del villaggio locale. Tutti, nel villaggio e tra il personale, sono stati amichevoli e gentili. Il nostro capitano, Fini, è stato il migliore! Giri a cinque stelle! ! !

We love your description of the journey as “windy-windy” — both breezy and serpentine! That captures the Sigatoka River beautifully as it winds its way through the valley and past the communities that call its banks home.
Those spontaneous waves from people swimming, farming, fishing or simply going about their day are a wonderful part of the journey. It’s a genuine glimpse into everyday life along the river and a reminder that you’re travelling through the real Fiji.
We’re especially pleased you enjoyed the village experience and the warmth shown by both the villagers and our team. The village is very much the heart of the Sigatoka River Safari, giving our guests the opportunity to connect with local people, learn about their way of life and experience genuine Fijian hospitality firsthand.

Incantevole tour panoramico

Molto divertente, il focus principale della giornata era la cultura e la città visitata, che era fantastica, ma se stai cercando un'esperienza di jet boating in Nuova Zelanda piuttosto che un tour panoramico, allora questo non fa per te.

You are absolutely right — we are first and foremost a "Fijian village and cultural experience", with the bonus of a scenic safari jetboat ride along the beautiful Sigatoka River.
Our tour is designed to connect guests with the people, traditions, stories, food and warm hospitality of our partner villages. The jetboat ride adds fun, scenery and excitement, but our main focus has always been sharing the heart and soul of Fiji.
If someone is specifically looking for a Shotover-style, high-adrenaline thrill ride, then we agree — Sigatoka River Safari is probably not what they are looking for.
We are very pleased you enjoyed the cultural side of the day and found the tour lovely and scenic. Vinaka again for travelling with us.

Tempo di villaggio e lecca-lecca

Bellissimo giro lungo il fiume, ottimo tour del villaggio e pasto. Se non hai visitato un villaggio delle Fiji, questo potrebbe essere il migliore che abbia visto per quanto riguarda il tempo dedicato alla cerimonia di benvenuto e il tempo trascorso con te a visitare il loro villaggio. Non è lo stesso villaggio ogni giorno, quindi la tua esperienza potrebbe essere leggermente diversa, ma il capitano della barca era del nostro villaggio e questo ha fatto una grande differenza nel modo in cui siamo stati accolti. Il fiume è bello e volatile. Il jet boat non era spaventoso, ma era davvero interessante come potesse andare su acque così poco profonde. Alla fine, fanno più giri a 360 gradi e ti bagnano, ma è solo alla fine, così non prendi freddo. Avevamo un paio di bambini a bordo e stavano bene con i giri a 360 gradi. Pensavo fossero un po' deludenti, ma è divertente bagnarsi alla fine. Hanno in qualche modo trasformato il tutto in un piccolo parco divertimenti con i giri a 360 gradi. La cosa più importante è che una volta arrivati a Sigatoka, se non hai già le leccornie, vai in uno dei mini negozi e prendi un sacchetto. I bambini erano molto grati per una semplice leccornia. E non venivano a chiedere un secondo. Era piuttosto interessante.

One of the things that makes the Sigatoka River Safari so special is the amount of time guests are able to spend in the village, learning about daily life, customs and traditions directly from the people who call the Sigatoka Valley home.
You are absolutely right that each village experience is unique. With multiple partner villages participating in our rotation, every visit offers guests a slightly different perspective while maintaining the same warmth, hospitality and authentic cultural connection.
We are especially pleased to hear that having a captain from the village added another layer to your experience and helped create a genuine connection with the community.
Thank you also for your comments regarding the jet boat ride. Our captains are always mindful of the mix of guests onboard and tailor the experience accordingly. If there were young children travelling on your boat, this may have tempered the intensity of some of the captain's signature spins, as safety and guest comfort are always our highest priorities. We aim to ensure everyone, from our youngest adventurers to our oldest guests, can enjoy the experience with confidence.
While the famous 360° spins are certainly a fun way to finish the journey and cool off on a warm Fiji day, the true magic of the experience lies in the stunning river scenery, the stories shared along the way and the opportunity to connect with Fiji's people and culture.
Your comments about the village children were also lovely to read. The genuine appreciation and respectful nature of the children is something many guests remember long after they return home.
