Nós gostamos muito do nosso passeio a pé por Arusha com Daniel. Ele era amigável, fácil de conversar e claramente muito conhecedor da cidade e de sua história. O que mais gostamos foi que o passeio parecia relaxado e natural, em vez de como se estivéssemos sendo levados de uma atração para outra.
Daniel compartilhou histórias interessantes sobre Arusha, a cultura local, a vida diária e os diferentes lugares que visitamos. Ele explicava as coisas de uma maneira muito simples e interessante, e ele estava sempre feliz em responder às nossas perguntas. Isso nos deu uma compreensão muito melhor da cidade e da Tanzânia além do que poderíamos ter descoberto explorando por conta própria.
Nós gostamos especialmente de poder passear, ver algumas das áreas locais e vivenciar a atmosfera de Arusha. Daniel garantiu que tivéssemos tempo suficiente para passear e aproveitar cada lugar sem que o passeio parecesse apressado.

Tivemos dois dias de transição em Arusha antes do nosso safari e reservamos o passeio pela cidade de Arusha com o Tanzânia Songbirds Safari. Resultou ser uma das melhores decisões da nossa viagem e excelente relação custo-benefício. Nós gostamos tanto do passeio que reservamos novamente no dia seguinte para continuar a exploração em Arusha.
Nosso guia, Isra, chegou cedo para a coleta. O veículo era confortável e bem mantido, com um motorista dedicado, para que Isra pudesse se concentrar totalmente em guiar e responder nossas perguntas. Como era apenas nós dois, ele era muito flexível e ajustou o itinerário com base em nossos interesses.
Caminhar por Arusha com Isra foi divertido e informativo. Ele compartilhou insights pensativos sobre a história, cultura, política, religião, diversidade étnica e vida cotidiana da Tanzânia, respondendo pacientemente a todas as nossas perguntas. Com ele, nos sentimos muito confortáveis explorando o centro da cidade, estandes ao lado da estrada, e especialmente o mercado central ocupado.
O mercado central foi um destaque. Isra explicou como o mercado está organizado e nos ajudou a entender o que as pessoas locais compram, comem e trocam. Sem um guia local, provavelmente não teríamos explorado um mercado tão grande com tanta confiança.
Um passeio altamente recomendado para viajantes de safari.

Nosso guia, Doudi, foi muito informativo e gostava de compartilhar informações sobre sua cultura e a história do país.
A aula de cozinha foi maravilhosa - tudo fresco do mercado, lavado e cortado para cozinhar, e depois cozido dentro usando 3 grelhas. Fizemos 4 pratos que seriam muito comuns na maioria das casas da Tanzânia. O arroz marrom foi um vencedor. A comida era saborosa, não picante.
A visita ao Centro Cultural irá satisfazer as necessidades de compras de todos (jewelry tanzanite, outras jóias, artesanato local). A Galeria de Arte ao lado era uma jóia e não deve ser perdida.
Além de dicas (e você compra), não são necessários fundos adicionais.
