Não em inglês, mas bom entretenimento

Foi-nos dito que o alemão para inglês no show era 60/40, mas era mais como 90/10. Apenas 1 ou 2 músicas estavam em inglês e nenhuma delas contava uma história. Apesar de não entender uma palavra, havia alguns grandes artistas e dançarinos no show que prenderam minha atenção.

Experiência Decepcionante – Não Vale o Preço

Infelizmente, Blinded by Delight em Berlim não correspondeu às nossas expectativas. Nós estávamos muito ansiosos pela experiência, mas no geral ela pareceu decepcionante e não valeu o preço que pagamos.
A produção teve alguns momentos visualmente interessantes, mas o show careceu da emoção e do impacto emocional que esperávamos. Às vezes, parecia lento e difícil de acompanhar, e nos pegamos perdendo o interesse em vez de estarmos totalmente imersos.
Considerando os preços dos ingressos, esperávamos uma experiência muito mais impressionante e memorável. Havia certamente pessoas talentosas envolvidas, mas a execução geral não entregou o nível de entretenimento que esperávamos.
Talvez agrade a outros, mas pessoalmente, saímos desapontados e não o recomendaria pelo preço atual.

Artistic impressions differ, and no production will appeal equally to everyone. For context, however, the current production is the most successful in the history of our venue, with occupancy currently around 95%, more than 500,000 tickets sold, regular standing ovations and over 95% positive reviews on platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor. We are deeply grateful for this response, not least because the success of the Palast supports around 400 jobs.

Infelizmente, Blinded by Delight foi uma experiência decepcionante. Como turista, encontrei dificuldade em acompanhar porque o espetáculo era inteiramente em alemão, o que não foi feito suficientemente claro antes.
O ambiente também estava longe de ser agradável. A música era desnecessariamente forte, e o público estava cheio de adolescentes que conversavam durante grande parte da apresentação, dificultando o engajamento.
Considerando o preço do bilhete, eu esperava um padrão muito maior. Enquanto houve alguns bons momentos, partes da dança pareciam amadoras e não tinham o profissionalismo que eu esperava.
No geral, eu não senti que o show valia o dinheiro. Se você está decidindo entre produções, eu recomendaria Alizé do Cirque du Soleil, que oferece uma experiência muito mais polida e divertida.

You are right that a significant part of the songs is performed in German. The production is created and presented in Berlin and reflects its cultural context. At the same time, BLINDED by DELIGHT is not a traditional musical but a modern revue, where dance, music, acrobatics and visual imagery play the central role. This is also why many international guests enjoy the show without speaking German. For those who would like additional context, we provide English translations of the song lyrics online.
We take the issue of loudness very seriously. We use an immersive sound system while always complying with all applicable legal requirements.
I am sorry that fellow audience members affected your enjoyment of the evening. Unfortunately, audience behaviour is one of the few aspects of a live performance that we cannot fully control.

Muito decepcionante em comparação com Falling in Love Show

Em comparação com o programa anterior Falling in Love este programa é muito decepcionante. Primeiro de tudo, tudo é em alemão e para o falante não alemão ou iniciante é muito difícil de seguir o que está acontecendo, bem como quase todas as músicas são em alemão. Em segundo lugar, a trama não é muito envolvente, eu não vi as associações entre cenas e trama e houve qualquer final interessante da história. Além disso, os artistas em geral são grandes artistas, mas o protagonista não convenceu com sua performance, simplesmente eles não se encaixaram nesses papéis. Eu não tenho a sensação de que o protagonista está se apaixonando, mas sim de ser um bom amigo. Não consegui me conectar com os quatro protagonistas principais. Além disso, os trajes eram bastante simples em comparação com o show anterior, até mesmo estilo muito alternativo, o que deu uma impressão um pouco barata. No geral, poucas performances me chamaram a atenção, poucas ficaram entediadas, e tive a sensação de que algumas performances de dança são algo repetitivas ou de estilo similar. Houve duas ou três apresentações onde dois protagonistas principais estavam apenas cantando, o que não era realmente envolvente. Finalmente, algumas apresentações foram muito alternativas, o que não me deu uma sensação muito impressionante, muito pelo contrário. Eu não entendo porque eles não tiraram mais proveito daquele grande palco que o lugar está oferecendo. Meu namorado disse que parecia um show de circo bem vestido/de nível superior. No geral, eu não recomendaria este show, em vez de esperar pelo próximo.

You may have been expecting a different kind of production. Our Grand Shows follow the tradition of the Berlin revue rather than a conventional musical. Dance, music, acrobatics and visual imagery are connected through an overarching artistic idea rather than a strictly linear plot.
As for the language: yes, a significant part of the songs is performed in German. After all, the production is created and presented in Berlin. At the same time, many international guests enjoy the show without speaking German, as its storytelling is primarily visual and emotional rather than dialogue-driven.
