This was definitely the highlight of our stay in Rio De Janeiro. While we were excited at the prospect of visiting the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, this exceeded all our expectations. The view of Sugarloaf from the location chosen by our guide was spectacular and my entrance to the Cathedral of Sao Sebastian was so emotional. I really want to thank our guide, Eduardo Wilson, for an amazing day.

Long day to tour major sites

Looked at the itinerary and thought this was a 5-6 hour tour. Missed the "duration" line that said 9 hours. Pick up time was not clearly communicated so we were ready at 8 am but not picked up until 8:50 am. Did not get back to our hotel until 6 pm. It was a LONG day. Our tour guide Cassio (son of Rolex) was excellent. The A/C was not working in the van, so they swapped it out while we were at Sugarloaf. Lunch was not anything special. Did not realize there was a tour option without lunch - would have preferred that since we had drinks at Christ the Redeemer and acai bowls on Sugarloaf and didn't really need lunch. More than 1/2 the tour group ended the tour before lunch. Enjoyed seeing the Cathedral and Selaron Stairs, but we were really too tired to enjoy them fully at the end of the tour day (and having travelled the day before). I would definitely plan for a day off between travel and this tour OR opt for the shorter tour option and explore other sites on your own.

Excellent experience! The full-day city tour of Rio de Janeiro was simply complete.
We managed to see the main tourist attractions of the city, appreciate incredible landscapes, and enjoy every stop with tranquility. The tour was very well organized, with a complete itinerary, punctuality, and excellent service from the guide Roma.
Everything contributed to a pleasant and unforgettable day with the family.
I recommend to everyone who wants to know the best of Rio de Janeiro in a single day!
