Good walking tour of Rio
Scott_S, October 2026
This was a really good walking tour of Rio that hits all the right places, was nicely passed and the guides had a lot of good information to convey. The guide even had lunch with us that day which wasn't part of the tour.

Nice tour but tour guide was pushy and kind of rude
519jeremyy, October 2026
Ou guide Lucemir was friendly and did take us to many beautiful places. However my main complaint is that he was very pushy about what he wanted us to do, when he wanted us to take pictures, and was not very accommodating to my elderly father who has bad knees. He was also very vulgar and swore at my father, which I did NOT appreciate. It was sometimes a bit difficult to understand him as his English was not very fluent.

Pyramid Shaped Cathedral
Lorenzo_Y, October 2026
Great walking tour, great experience and information about downtown Rio. Hidden gem when people visit Rio is downtown, seeing one of the most iconic cathedral is the highlight of the tour. Both tour guides did great to keep the tour at a nice flow. Both tour guides served well together and gave great information and detailed.

Okay, main guide made people feel uncomfortable
O2185CAemmaj, October 2026
I enjoyed the tour overall, you see the highlights and main parts of the centre. But it is not a ‘must do’ - some parts you walk through fairly sketchy neighbourhoods!
The tour guide Lucemir did make me feel uncomfortable with how much he touched the female guests, lots of arm grabbing, directing via hand on waist, he even kissed the head of a young girl. It was not appropriate at all.
The other guide (I forgot his name unfortunately) who was younger with glasses and dark hair, was absolutely brilliant and very professional.
I would recommend if you’re in Rio for a long time, but just seeing the steps and cathedral would be enough!
