My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time at Veerna’s Kitchen! Veerna, Kosti & the whole family were the most wonderful hosts - so warm, welcoming and entertaining, and made the whole experience so much fun. The setting is gorgeous, the puppies are adorable, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special shout-out to Kosti for his homemade red raki! Such a lovely, authentic experience and a real highlight of our time in Crete. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Chania! ❤️

The Cooking Class In Chania in Veerna's Kitchen was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece (Athens, Santorini, Crete). Veerna and her family run that cooking class like a well-oiled machine. They keep the class moving at the perfect pace, interspersing teaching with trying culinary treats. It is a full-family operation. Not only are you learning about Cretan culture and cuisine but you also undoubtedly will meet travelers from all over. Veerna and her family are the epitome of Greek hospitality. There isn't anything I would change about the activity. It was simply perfect, and I would encourage doing it if you have the opportunity! Thank you for a great memory!

The Chania cooking class at Veerna's Kitchen was better than I expected, which seems impossible. We booked transportation to and from the class and it was smooth and well communicated. The flow of the class was informative, collaborative, fun and tasty. When Im back in Chania, I would take the same class again just for a chance to hang out with Veerna and her family. This experience is something I will hold on to for years.
