Embark on a captivating boat journey starting from the bridges of Ortigia. We will navigate into the "big port" of Syracuse and along the picturesque Alpheus promenade of Ortigia.
Afterward, we'll venture out of the port to circumnavigate the island, offering stunning views of the coastal monuments.
Our route then takes us north of Syracuse to explore the magnificent sea caves.
We'll make our return through the "small port," sailing within the Ortigia channel that separates the island from the mainland. You'll pass under the bridges as we head back to our starting point.

The meet up location was confuing.Viator is just the booking platform it’s never clear who the actual provider is. So we were too late and missed our check in time. The kiosk attendant said to come back in one hour. He found us a spot on the next tour.,s Ninni, the skipper was entertaining and informed. He let us swim for a few minutes in the clear water before heading back. It was a circle around Ortigia as he pointed out several landmark. He also gave a locals recommendation for gelato and a good Sicilian restaurant. Except for the check in confusion, this wouu u is have been a 5 for value.

Tour passed with flying colors. Vincenzo is very nice, the views over the gulf are splendid, and entering the caves is absolutely worth it. Icing on the cake: spectacular dives into the clear waters around Ortigia. Must do again!

One hour is quick, but they got us out there. The morning light was great in the caves. Be ready to jump in for your swim. You should bring a towel and some plan for changing out of your swimsuit, since the tour begins at a kiosk and ends at the marina.
