A 4 hour long drive from Fes and spent about 4 hours in Chefchaouen was worthwhile. Mohsen, the driver for day trip to Chefchaouen was skillful and tough job. Chefchaouen is beautiful blue city with various alleys in decorated in blue. Be aware certain alleys require tipping.

Appalling, to be avoided

Uncomfortable and non-functional vehicle.
The driver could not accelerate... All the climbs were done in 1st gear at 20 km/h. He had to turn off the air conditioning. The driver was constantly looking at his cell phone. We did not feel safe. The trip lasts 8 hours!!
Furthermore, there were 2 of us in the front seat, very cramped without being able to move our legs. 1 break halfway through!!! Phew!! And the heat!!
Regarding the guide, it was difficult to understand her.
Fortunately, Chefchaouen is magnificent.
I do not recommend this excursion organized by this agency.

Il est d'autant plus surprenant que vous n'ayez rien signalé le jour même pendant l'excursion, ce qui nous aurait permis d'intervenir immédiatement. La route de Fès à Chefchaouen traverse des zones escarpées, ce qui exige une conduite prudente et une vitesse adaptée dans les montées pour la sécurité de tous, et votre installation à l'avant s'est faite à votre demande expresse. Bien que l'ensemble des autres clients ait été totalement satisfait, nous avons fait preuve de bonne foi en vous proposant une solution commerciale amiable, que vous avez refusée, ce qui nous laisse dubitatifs quant à la démarche.

I was a bit disappointed in this tour. I very much appreciate that the tour manager allowed us to go one way and take our luggage with us so that we got a hotel in Chefchauoun and stayed there for the night. I actually recommend doing that. Other than that, the driver was late picking us up, the transportation was okay but not overly, comfortable, and the tour guide left a lot to be desired. He was a very character filled older gentleman and he was very funny. We wandered through the streets after wasting 45 minutes waiting for another tour group to meet up with us. We learned nothing but enjoyed some of his jokes. I think it's probably likely one could do Chefchaouen on on their own although I would not say that about other medinas in morocco.

Good trip, but only 4 hours in Chefchaouen

Well organized trip and good value for money. Pick up and drop off was smooth. The guide was very friendly and kept checking in on everyone.
Bear in mind the trip to chefchaouen is only 4 hours long which may be enough for some people but not for others. For us it was enough as it was too hot to explore further. But on a good day with nice weather I would have wanted to stay for longer.
