The experience begins with a scenic boat ride from Shelter Cove Marina to the back of Daufuskie Island. This journey is an integral part of the tour!
During the voyage, we'll pause to observe dolphins and other local wildlife. You'll also have the opportunity to view and discuss the sights of Daufuskie and its neighboring islands from the water.

You’ll learn about the history of the island, which is very interesting. Dean, our captain and tour guide, was amazing. Very knowledgable & personable. Due to the length of the tour, you’ll only see a portion of the island. What you do see is interesting and gives you a sense of how people lived in the past, and a view of how normal people live there today. You will not see the HOA communities.
Dean did stop during the boat ride over so we could see dolphins. He also shared facts about Hilton Head and the surrounding islands.
