After a 45–50 minute boat ride from Al Mouj Marina, we arrive at the beautiful Daymaniat Islands Nature Reserve, located around 26 km off the coast of Muscat.
During your snorkeling trip, we visit two different snorkeling locations, selected according to the sea conditions on the day. The Daymaniat Islands are home to an incredible variety of marine life, and you may encounter green and hawksbill turtles, blacktip reef sharks, rays, moray eels and many colorful reef fish.
From November to April, when beach access is permitted, we usually include a beach stop between the snorkeling sessions. You’ll have time to relax, explore the island, take photos and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
From May to October, the beaches are closed to visitors to protect nesting turtles and seabirds. During this period, we enjoy the islands entirely from the boat and in the water.
We are proud Green Tourism Silver Award holders and are committed to responsible marine tourism. There is no single-use plastic on our trips, and we encourage our guests to help us protect the beautiful environment we are privileged to visit.

Incredible experience to see so many turtles at this marine sanctuary. Captain Fahad and his crew were knowledgeable and mindful of the environment. They also made sure everyone understood the rules. The boat and snorkeling equipment were in excellent condition, the snacks and fruit were tasty and fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and timely return. Spot on!

We booked the 5-hour tour with Daymaniat Shells, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Oman.
