About the activity

Discover a different side of Washington DC after dark on a guided night tour of the city's illuminated monuments. This tour operates on our standard enclosed coach, or you can opt for an upgrade to our small-group convertible (open-top in warmer months, glass-top in winter) for fresh air and unobstructed views. Select your preferred vehicle during booking. The tour commences at the U.S. Navy Memorial, where you will board the bus and get settled before we proceed to iconic attractions such as the White House, the Korean War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. As night falls, each monument and building is dramatically illuminated. Hop off the bus to explore the memorials with your guide, taking advantage of numerous photo opportunities. The entire glittering expanse of the National Mall, including the twinkling Tidal Basin and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, can be admired at the beginning and end of your tour.

We do not have dedicated parking for this tour. Street parking and garages are available nearby, including directly under the Navy Memorial. The tour also meets just outside the "Navy Memorial – National Archives" Metro station on the yellow and green lines.

Please arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in.
