Michelle was absolutely AMAZING! She has the perfect combination of being incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely sweet, and absolutely hilarious! Her personality made the entire experience so much fun, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable, kept us laughing, and shared so much interesting information along the way. She wasn’t just a tour guide; she made the whole experience memorable! Our first foodie tour!
Scott_W, October 2026
It was a beautiful day in downtown Providence, RI, and my wife and I were joined by a family of 4 ladies on a girls trip. Our tour guide, Lesli did an awesome job taking us on a foodie tour of 6 eating establishments, and giving us some history of Rhode Island. Each eatery was uniquely delicious!

Excellent Food Tour in Downtown Providence
jamielynne126, October 2026
My husband and I attended the Providence food tour and I cannot say enough good things about it. But I’ll try! To start, our tour guide Lesli was fantastic!! She was friendly, personable and super knowledgeable about the area, its history, and (most importantly), its food!! We went to six different establishments and tried everything from local seafood, to Mexican, Nigerian, Thai and pretzels. I believe they switch out locations, so these won’t necessarily be the same things everyone will get to try, but there was something for everyone! The walking was manageable for all parties on the tour, and we got a good amount (but not too much) of local history. I highly highly recommend you book this tour The next time you are in Providence. I’m looking forward to trying the Newport tour soon!

Fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ChicagoApril22, October 2026
We did the Rhode Island Red Food Tour in Providence on 3rd October and absolutely loved it. Jack was an amazing guide – such a warm, engaging personality, with lots of genuinely interesting facts and stories along the way. He made everyone feel welcome and relaxed and was very accommodating to the whole group. We particularly liked how respectful and supportive the tour was of the businesses we visited. There was a real emphasis on supporting local independent businesses, including some newer and more unusual places that we probably wouldn’t have discovered ourselves. Jack genuinely wanted to know what we thought of each stop, rather than it ever feeling like we were simply being taken from one place to another. The portions were incredibly generous and all the different food stops complemented each other so well. It’s actually difficult to choose a favourite because we enjoyed something about every one of them! The whole experience was friendly, interesting and wonderfully relaxed. It was a brilliant way to discover Providence, its food and some of the people and businesses that make the city special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rhode Island Red Food Tours – and Jack was fantastic!
