Enjoy a 2.5-hour whitewater rafting trip down the Animas River.
Transportation departs from our office at 1212 State Hwy 3, Durango, CO 81301.
You will be shuttled to the river's entry point, where your guide will lead you downstream.
A return shuttle will pick you up at the river's exit point and bring you back to our office.
Mobile or paper ticket accepted. One per booking
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
Footwear: No flip-flops allowed. Secure sandals (worn around the ankle), water shoes, or tennis shoes are required.
Wetsuit booties (wetshoes) are available for rent.
Clothing: Wear quick-drying clothing if possible, or attire that you don't mind getting wet.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

My wife and I had a marvelous time on the Animus River. The folks at Colorado Outback Adventures are very friendly and professional. Our guide Hailey was a rock star! Everything was easy, and the drive to their office was only 7 minutes from where we stayed.
And being on the river is really special. In addition to the boat ride itself, the scenery is pretty great. And there was a good bit of wildlife in and around the water.

It was the first rafting trip for our 7- and 5-year-old, and it was the perfect introduction to the experience! Our guide, Ben, made it fun and engaging for the kids—and for all of us. The river was low, but it didn’t detract from the experience at all. We still hit some fun rapids, and the kids kept asking for more!
