The start time is adjusted seasonally to coincide with the animals' peak activity periods.
Embark on an adventure off the beaten path, away from typical tourist routes, into the captivating world of our most endangered primates. This 3-hour journey will take you along winding mountain roads and scenic landscapes to discover hidden areas known only to the Red-Shanked Douc Langurs, also known as Rare Monkeys.
During the breeding season (March to July), you might encounter playful young langurs, or observe adults and the dominant male. You'll learn to distinguish between males and females, estimate their age, and even contribute to real-time research by helping to gather data on the monkeys observed. Along the way, you may also spot other forest inhabitants such as birds, vibrant butterflies, unique plants, or even mongooses.
During our trek, I will seek opportunities to connect with local wildlife photographers. We can gain insights from their experiences and admire their stunning photographs, deepening our understanding of the langurs.
Beyond the search for rare animals, we will explore breathtaking, secluded vistas of Monkey Mountain and hidden beaches, adding an element of surprise and wonder to our excursion.

Cute monkeys

It was a very nice experience! We saw a lot of monkeys, including some babies 😊
The tour guides Alan and Leo were very good! They helped us in taking some really good pictures of the monkeys!
They also allowed us that our group took both bikes and a car(for those who didn't want to ride a bike)
