Euphoria!
V2880CRjeromep, October 2026
110% positive experience! They hit the 5 star in all categories! Highly recommend. Arjun the guide and his assistants made sure that we were ALWAYS taken care of! Don’t wait around until that “someday.” Book the trip now, and check out a piece of heaven for yourself. Going solo is perfectly great! You’ll make friends in 10 days that normally take a lifetime.

Great experience on EBC-trek
bsO733DO, October 2026
Our experience on EBC-trek with Cho La pass was really amazing. Our guide Lhakpa and our porter Manj were really great, we had a great time with them on the mountain and playing cards in the evenings. The teahouses were better then we expected and the itinerary was perfectly fitted to our needs. I can only recommend this company and especially Lhakpa as a guide and Manj as a porter.

Nepal Hiking Team is an excellent operator for EBC (Sept 2026)
149sreem, October 2026
I did the EBC with NHT in Sept 206 and would highly recommend them.
1. Co-founders Ganga and Balram are still hands-on and it shows in the high quality of the operation
2. All my emails were responded to within 24 hours (usually within 8 hours)
3. Buffer days built into the schedule both before and after the trek which is a must considering weather delays (included in rate)
4. Comfortable hotel in Kathmandu as well as good ones en route --- they have probably chosen the best available hotel in each location (except Gorakshep where there really are no good options available)
5. Good food for every lunch and dinner en route, with fresh-fruit platter after every meal, to sustain the calorie intake
6. Down jacket and -15 rated Sleeping Bag rental included in rate
7. We had an excellent team in guide Uttam and porter Jeevan
8. With this never-flagging optimism, Uttam managed to keep up the morale of the group throughout the hard climbs in the face of unexpected rainy/snowy weather. He guided us over the harder sections of the trail and kept encouraging us when our energy was down.
9. Jeevan also accompanied us to EBC to ensure we could make it successfully
10. From pick-up on arrival at KTM to airport drop-off, they handled every step seamlessly.
Overall I am very happy with having chosen NHT for EBC and I hope to do other treks with them in future.

Fantastic trip to EBC

The Nepal hiking team is great! From our pickup at the Airport in Kathmandu to our drop off at the Lukla airport!
Our guide Binod was fantastic! He took care of us each step of the way. Our porter Sambu went out of his way to make sure our gear was on time and protected. This is a company you can trust!

Highest praise for Nepal Hiking Team!
christiancoutts, October 2026
I can offer only the highest praise for the Nepal Hiking Team. My friend and I had a fantastic time on their Everest Base Camp trek. Our lead guide Shyam, alongside the assistant guide and sherpas, made our comfort and enjoyment priority #1. From managing logistics, to food & drinks, to sharing mountainside knowledge, they didn’t miss a beat. This company is also Nepalese owned and operated - we hope others continue to support local operators so they can continue to grow their businesses and offer the highest quality experiences.
