Definitely spend the money. It’s worth it. My eight-hour tour with Born Free was as great of a time as I could’ve hoped for. The crew was extremely attentive, refreshments were consistently available (and cold!), and the stops and other attractions along the way that we visited while island hopping were magnificent. Even if we didn’t stop somewhere, there were abundant fun facts about many of the islands, and a who’s-who of ownership. The boat ride was definitely bumpy at times. It’s imperative that you keep your belongings secure. It would’ve been extremely easy to lose glasses, a hat, or even a cell phone. There is shade from a canopy on most of it, but if you’re sitting up front like I was, bring extra sunscreen and apply it regularly.

We had an absolutely AMAZING day with Born Free Charter Nassau on the Discover Exuma Island-Hopping & Swimming Pigs Tour! From start to finish, this experience exceeded our expectations. The boat was beautiful, modern, clean, and well-maintained, with unlimited soft drinks and snacks available throughout the day. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the A1 crew — Captain Vardo, Cardo, and AJ. They were incredibly hospitable, informative, professional, and attentive. They made sure everyone was safe and comfortable getting on and off the boat and throughout every stop. And the itinerary? ONE AMAZING ADVENTURE AFTER ANOTHER! We visited the Allen Cays to see and feed the famous iguanas, snorkeled the sunken plane crash associated with Pablo Escobar, had the unforgettable experience of petting and feeding nurse sharks at Compass Cay, and then swam with the pigs at Major’s Cay! We also enjoyed an authentic Bahamian buffet lunch at Lorraine’s Café at Black Point Exuma Marina, which was delicious and the perfect way to refuel before continuing our adventure. Our final stop at Saddleback Cay was simply breathtaking. The calm, crystal-clear beauty and tranquility of the island were the perfect ending to an already incredible day. There was never a dull moment. Every time we got back on the boat, we knew another adventure was waiting for us. The crew kept the energy going while still making safety and comfort a priority. Huge kudos to Born Free Charter Nassau and their A1 team — Captain Vardo, Cardo, and AJ! You delivered an unforgettable Exuma experience, and we would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the beauty, adventure, and magic of the Exumas. 10/10 experience. I cannot recommend this boat tour with Born Free enough. The crew was phenomenal and made the day feel both fun and easy (shout out to Captain Keith, Joey and Celine)! Every stop they took us on felt more amazing and magical than the last. You could tell the crew were all very passionate about what they do, the place they’re living and working in and the nature and animals that they’re sharing with you. They took excellent care of us and seamlessly navigated tricky weather. 10 out of 10 from beginning to end!
