8:30 AM: Depart from our office and take a short 5-minute bus ride to the pier. Visit the Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village to learn about local fishing practices, aquaculture, and the daily lives of the fishermen on the bay. Enjoy 1.5 to 2 hours of kayaking (or bamboo boat ride) through stunning rock arches, discovering hidden tunnels, and exploring Bat Cave and Bright Cave. Stop for a refreshing swim at Ba Trai Dao beach or within Lan Ha Bay, depending on the tide and weather conditions.

Continue cruising into Ha Long Bay, taking in the views of its most beautiful landscapes in less crowded areas. Admire the scenery of hundreds of limestone islands. 12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch served on board the boat. Return to Lan Ha Bay via a different route to appreciate more of the spectacular scenery. Enjoy another opportunity for swimming at a secluded sandy beach. Arrive back in Cat Ba town between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Hang was a wonderful tour guide! He was very informative regarding the history of Cat Ba Island & Lan Ha Bay, the floating fish farms, the wild life & the plans for further development of Cat Ba Island over the next few years. Would absolutely recommend this tour and Hang as your guide! Not only was he wonderful, the food and overall experience was worth every bit of it!

This was a great tour with a nice mixture of swimming, kayaking, and amazing landscapes. Our local guide Ninh was fantastic, super friendly, available, and took us to the best kayaking spots. The only thing I liked much less was the visit to the fish farm, as I thought the fish was kept in small tanks and it was quite sad to see. I definitely recommend this tour.

Fabulous day on the water today and experiencing Lan Ha Bay, without the crowds. Our guide was Ninh, who did an amazing job looking after guest from multiple nationalities, keeping everyone informed and safe. Lunch was excellent (were vegetarian and there was plenty of veggie food and same for those who prefer meat/fish. Pace was relaxed, yet we were never bored and kayaking was in a secluded bay and through caves.... Just stunning.
