11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: A brief 5-minute minibus ride from our office takes you to the pier.
Occasionally, we utilize smaller junks for easier navigation and anchoring.

Following lunch, we'll transition to the Cat Ba Ventures sleeping boat around 1:45 PM (boat change within the bay).

We'll cruise through Lan Ha Bay, exploring picturesque scenery and a floating fishing village, offering a glimpse into the local fishermen's lives.
Enjoy a swim at a secluded beach. Snorkeling is optional, with equipment provided.
12:30 PM: Lunch is served on board.
Embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour kayaking excursion through rock archways into hidden lagoons and tunnels, discovering Bat Cave and Bright Cave.
Continue cruising towards Ha Long Bay, taking in the most breathtaking views in less crowded areas.
Savor the sunset over the bay.
7:00 PM: Dinner and overnight accommodation on the boat.
Optional squid fishing is available at night.

After breakfast, we continue our journey to explore a different part of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau Lagoon. Admire the beauty of countless limestone karsts in tranquil surroundings.
Visit Dau Be Island and then swim at a secluded beach. Kayak to explore Ho Ba Ham (three hidden lagoons) or paddle in Ba Trai Dao lagoon, depending on the tide and sea conditions.
We will then cruise to another section of Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy lunch on the boat.
The tour concludes at 12:00 PM. We can assist with arranging onward transportation at 12:30 PM for your journey back to Hanoi or Ninh Binh. Buses to Sa Pa and Ha Giang depart at 3:30 PM, or you can choose to extend your stay in Cat Ba to explore the island further the next day.

Our boat tour and overnight stay on the boat were absolute highlights of our vacation and the entire experience exceeded our expectations!
Our tour guide, Ninh, was fantastic from start to finish. He is such a humble, funny, and genuinely kind person who connected with everyone in the group. He made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire tour. His positive attitude and great sense of humor made the experience very special and memorable for us.
The rooms were clean. The tour guide as suitable for us as a family of 6 with two seniors. Even non-swimmers were safely transported by kayak to the beach, so nobody had to miss out on the fun. That was so considerate.
The food was really delicious, and the activities were versatile. Considering everything included — the boat tour, overnight accommodation, meals, and activities — the price of around €150 per person was excellent value for money and definitely not overpriced.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Cat Ba Ventures to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in calm and less touristy areas.

Ninh was an amazing tour guide with a great sense of humor. He shared lots of interesting information about both Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
The scenery from the boat was absolutely breathtaking, and unlike many other tours, it felt peaceful and uncrowded, with very few tourist boats around.
The activities were diverse and well organized, ranging from kayaking and swimming to squid fishing in the evening.
My parents were a little hesitant about the swimming activities because they are not confident swimmers. Ninh was incredibly kind and thoughtful, helping them reach the beach by transporting them in a kayak. This made them feel comfortable and able to fully enjoy the experience :)
We would highly recommend CatBa Ventures, especially if you have Ninh as your tour guide. His friendliness, knowledge, and dedication truly made this trip unforgettable.
