Itinerary
Your guides will pick you up from your hotel in San Juan, Condado, or Isla Verde in a club wagon van for a 45-minute drive to your destination, situated atop a beautiful mountain range near Caguas.
After a brief restroom stop, where you can purchase snacks, you'll continue your journey, enjoying the mountain scenery and local lifestyle.
Upon arrival, you'll receive a helmet and harness, followed by a short introduction from your guides. You'll then begin an uphill hike to the river trail, marking the start of your nature adventure. Before entering the forest, your guides will conduct a thorough safety briefing.
The first part of your adventure involves hiking upstream through a spring-fed river and forest. You'll navigate waterfalls and hills using secured ropes until you reach the summit of El Salto Waterfall. At the rappel station, your guides will provide detailed instructions for descending the waterfall using specialized safety equipment.
Once the group has safely rappelled down the waterfall, you'll hike downstream to reach the ziplines. A total of 5 ziplines will transport you back to your starting point for the forest hike. After returning to base camp, you'll have the opportunity to change into dry clothes.
From base camp, a short walk leads you to "Grandma's" house, where a delicious home-cooked meal awaits. You can typically expect to return to San Juan between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, depending on group size, pace, and traffic conditions.

Our return time is typically around 3:00 PM, but this may vary depending on the group's size, pace, and traffic conditions.
NOTE: Due to size restrictions on our harnesses and other technical equipment, there is a maximum weight limit of 220 pounds, which must be relative to the participant's height.
What to bring: A change of clothes, towel, snacks, water, a day pack, sandals (for after the adventure), a camera, a rain jacket or poncho (optional), and any necessary personal medication (e.g., inhalers, epipens).
What to wear: Shorts or long pants (avoid jeans) and a t-shirt. Quick-dry clothing is recommended. Hiking sandals (like Teva or Keen), old sneakers, or water shoes are suitable. Flip-flops are not permitted.

For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or exhibit signs of intoxication. Cancellations due to intoxication will not be eligible for a refund.
If you are a cruise ship passenger and have not already provided this information, you MUST inform the supplier as soon as possible of your ship's name, docking time, disembarkation time, and departure time to allow for appropriate arrangements.
If you have not already specified, please also inform us of the time zone your cruise ship will be using before booking (e.g., Eastern Standard Time (EST), Atlantic Standard Time (AST), Central Mountain Time).
Puerto Rico observes Atlantic Standard Time, which may be one to two hours ahead of your cruise ship's schedule, particularly during Daylight Saving Time when clocks are set back one hour.
Please be punctual. Rocaliza will not wait more than 10 minutes past the scheduled meeting time. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no-shows.
Minimum participation numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
The tour departs within walking distance of the cruise port.
