Meeting point and return

If you arrive at Hue Airport before 7:40 AM, you can arrange for airport pick-up to join the tour from 8:30 AM. Luggage can be stored in the tour vehicle if space is available. If the vehicle is full, you will be taken to your hotel first to leave your luggage before joining the tour. If you do not have a hotel in Hue and are departing to another city after the tour, we can store your luggage at our home and return it to you after the tour.

Please note potential holiday surcharges: VND 50,000 (approx. USD 2) per person on January 1, September 2, April 30, and May 1. A surcharge of VND 115,000 (approx. USD 5) per person applies during the Lunar New Year period (30th Tet, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd days of Tet). These fees can be paid at My Home during your lunch.

This was a wonderful tour with a superior guide, Nhi. She was full of info, funny and kind! I would 100% recommend this tour. Lunch was a treat, foot soak was so relaxing and our hostess was gracious and showed us how to make the mung bean cake. We loved the incense ladies and the beautiful displays. The last tomb was awesome with its porcelain decor.

My wife and I booked a private full-day tour of the major historic sites (pagoda, 2 tombs, and Imperial City). Our guide was Nhu and she was amazing! She spoke very good English and her knowledge was both broad and deep. She provided a great context for the history, religion, politics, and culture of Hue and Vietnam's history in general. And she knew so many details about historical dates, emperors, architecture, cultural symbols, etc. Her tour was not formulaic or rote, and she was entirely open to spontaneous detours based on our whims. Nhu is genuinely excited about her country and city's history, and it showed. We came away with a much greater knowledge and appreciation for Vietnam, its culture and people. Thank you Nhu! We stopped for lunch at a homestay that was spectacular! The chef, Ny, is a fantastic cook. Our lunch of 3 courses was hands down the best food we've eaten in Vietnam. Lunch included a foot soaking and making of mung bean treats. Kudos to Ny. Our driver, Qui, was competent, safe, and friendly. This tour costs a little more than most. We were initially hesitant to spend the extra money for it, especially the private one, but it we are so glad we did. The experience and education was worth every penny. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in more than superficial walk-though of Hue's amazing sites.
