Meet your Taiao Adventures guide at the Rotorua Information Centre to commence your evening. No prior kayaking experience is necessary, and beginners are warmly welcomed. We will provide all the necessary equipment, transportation, and a comprehensive safety briefing before you set off on the water.
As twilight deepens, paddle along the lake's edge with your guide. Observe the changing landscape as darkness envelops the surroundings. The small group size and leisurely pace allow you to relax, absorb the atmosphere, and appreciate the tranquility of the night.
Then, prepare to be amazed by the glow worms. Your guide will lead you to areas where thousands of glow worms reside in their natural habitat. You'll eventually settle in the main viewing spot, nestled beneath a ceiling of tiny, luminous lights. There's no need to hurry; you'll have ample time to sit in quiet contemplation, allow your eyes to adjust, and marvel at the glow while your guide shares insights and stories about the spectacle.
On clear evenings, the journey back offers a breathtaking view of the stars overhead, with the Milky Way stretching majestically across the sky.
After approximately 90 minutes on the water, we will return to shore and provide transportation back to the Rotorua Information Centre.
Your mobile or paper ticket is accepted. This ticket is valid for one booking.

4. Mainly because it was very enjoyable but extremely cold, if they provided us blankets on the bus than it might have been better.
