The booking process for this tour was straightforward (via TripAdvisor) and everything was clearly detailed within the confirmation email, including the tour duration, meeting point and stops along the way. Gareth was really friendly and knowledgeable, but it was knowledge that was delivered from memory and a commitment to detail, rather than from a script or lacking in engagement. There were around 10 people in our group, which felt like a really nice size to mean that it felt personal and that questions could be asked and photos could be taken. The tour included personal anecdotes from Gareth and l learned so much about the history and people of Manchester and how that feeds into our present experiences and lives. I would 100% recommend this 2.5 hour walking tour with Gareth and would like to thank him for a truly memorable experience.
