✓ Local guide✓ Digiscoping✓ Spotting scope✕ Entrance fee per person (must be purchased online in advance)✕ Parking fee if driving (approximately $10)1 Manuel Antonio National Park
Embark on an easy, leisurely 2.2-kilometer walk along gravel and sandy trails near the beach, focusing on spotting as much wildlife as possible. We emphasize wildlife observation, nature photography, and sharing up-to-date information and field stories.
Approximately two hours into our walk, we'll reach a coffee shop for a short break where you can purchase refreshments. Just 100 meters further, you'll find Manuel Antonio National Park's safest and most popular swimming beach, a beautiful stretch of white, fine sand. Another 100 meters ahead lies a second lovely swimming beach, where our tour typically concludes. You are welcome to stay and explore the park further. If you plan to depart, we allow a 25-minute break for photos or a quick dip.
The walk back to the park entrance is quicker. By this time, the heat has increased, and most animals have finished their morning meal, but the landscape remains spectacular.

Waste of money
45pagek, September 2026
Dont waste your money. Such a scam. They kicked us out an hour after starting. And the whole walk was so rushed. We were totally ok with the rain that doesn't bother us. We booked 2.5hours , only got 1 for $150 Canadian.

Fantastic Tour with Steve – Highly Recommended!
yunbow, August 2026
We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our tour with Steve! He is super friendly, incredibly patient, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the local wildlife. Throughout the walk, Steve spotted so many animals we never would have seen on our own and shared fascinating facts about each one.
One of the biggest highlights was how helpful Steve was with photography. He helped us attach our phones to his high-powered telescope, allowing us to capture mind-blowing, close-up photos and videos of the animals.
Steve's patience made the entire outing relaxed and enjoyable. When we wanted to take extra time to observe the wildlife, he never rushed us. He also waited patiently for our group while we took a break at the snack location.
If you're visiting Manuel Antonio, booking a tour with Steve is a must. We can't recommend him enough!

Helen_T, August 2026
Albin was a wonderful and joyful guide! We spotted many animals and got tips for exploring the rest of the park on our own.
