Best experience ever!

The guided tour of Monument Valley was the highlight of our two-week West Coast road trip. The location itself is incredible, of course, but what made the experience truly special was Travis, our Navajo guide. Not only did he keep us entertained in his 4x4, but he also made the whole experience deeply moving with his stories, full of tradition and love for his clan. We can’t thank him enough!

try not to get caught in a thunderstorm.
we were not prepared, and it made the final 30 minutes of the tour very uncomfortable.

Sunset Tour

The actual tour was amazing and our guide Larry was great. He was very knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions. NOTE: the check in for the tour was very chaotic. Very unorganized. Several tours arriving and departing at the same time. Each vehicle driver calling out names for their passengers at the same time.

Most memorable

This was the most memorable part of our 12 day trip so far. Our guide Travis told us so many personal stories that made it more than seeing the mountains which were beautiful too.

You Need to do This Tour at Monument Valley
Adrienne_M, October 2026
This was a wonderful experience which we could never have done by ourselves. The roads at Monument Valley are primitive and you need someone who has the vehicle and the knowledge to do it. Our guide Andrea was great! She showed us everything including a weaving demonstration, took us back to areas only the Navajo can access, explained many things about the Valley and the Navajo ways and culture and sang us a prayer song. Totally recommend!
