Bunski Kanal Most
The Buna canals represent one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most picturesque locations.
This natural beauty is truly a sight to behold, even though it's not yet fully developed for tourism.
The Bun canals are where the Neretva River meets its left tributary, the Buna River.
Interestingly, the Buna does not merge directly with the Neretva; instead, the two rivers flow side-by-side. A portion of the Buna flows over travertine barriers, creating stunning waterfalls before joining the Neretva on its path to the Adriatic Sea.

Mostar Old Bridge
The historic city of Mostar, situated in the deep Neretva River valley, flourished as an Ottoman frontier town in the 15th and 16th centuries and continued to develop during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Mostar has long been celebrated for its traditional Turkish houses and the iconic Old Bridge, Stari Most, from which it derives its name.
Tragically, during the conflict of the 1990s, much of the historic city and the Old Bridge, designed by the esteemed architect Sinan, were destroyed.
The Old Bridge has since been meticulously rebuilt, and numerous structures in the Old Town have been restored or reconstructed with the support of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO.
The Old Bridge area, showcasing a blend of pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean, and western European architectural styles, stands as an exceptional example of a multicultural urban settlement.
The reconstructed Old Bridge and Old City of Mostar symbolize reconciliation and the harmonious coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious communities.

Crooked Bridge (Kriva Cuprija)
The small, single-arch stone bridge known as the 'Crooked Bridge' spans the Radobolja River, approximately 150 meters upstream from its confluence with the Neretva.
The earliest mention of this bridge appears in Ćejvan's endowment from 1558, where the benefactor explicitly states: 'And the income will be used for the upkeep of his bridge on the Radobolja river.'
Based on this record, it can be definitively concluded that the Crooked Bridge was constructed by Ćejvan (Ćehaja) sometime before 1558.
Consequently, the Crooked Bridge predates the Old Bridge, which was built in 1566.
It is noteworthy that, according to tradition, the Old Bridge was modeled after this earlier structure.
