Michael is patronizing and hates yankees apparently
Jenna_M, October 2026
I booked this 8 months ago for my bachelorette and I’m so disappointed I’ve been here 4 times and Michael was so patronizing and weird. He made remarks about Yankees and asked all first born sons to stand up bc they deserve to inherit everything. Old school in a bad way. And I hate to say sexism but it was so weird, did not enjoy, first time in 4 times, he wouldn’t stop talking in one hour we ate nothing, sad when I brought all my friends here :( we left early didn’t eat anything

Fun Unique Activity in New Orleans
77audreyc, October 2026
Great activity. I was solo, which was fine. Dianne was our chef and very good. Enjoyed hearing about her background. I liked her philosophy on how she would make the recipes slightly differently at home, and make the recipes with substitutions/whatever you have in the house. Food was great! Would suggest not pairing jambalaya and gumbo in same class. Very similar dishes.

Wow!

This class was so good! Even though there were a lot of people, the presenter gave a ton of interaction. He was also so funny. We had just gotten off a cruise and saw two comedians and Chef was much funnier than both of those. He was also very knowledgeable which made the class even more fun.

Great demonstration class!

We participated in a demonstration class with chef Eric. He demonstrated to our group how to make chicken, gumbo, jambalaya, and pralines. He included some history about New Orleans food, and a fantastic job at explaining not the nuts and bolts, but also why things were done in a certain way. Everything was delicious and we had seconds because it was very tasty. He was really good about answering questions but also staying on time and we finished in exactly 2 hours. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
