Great trip
sandycG2884EA, October 2026
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Tassie. A must do! Many little stops along the way ( even some that weren't included) Andy our tour guide ( from England) was a walking ( or driving) encyclopaedia and only to happy to accommodate. Port Arthur was very informative and well set out. Highly recommend.

Great day trip to Port Arthur
Ming_C, September 2026
Really enjoyable and well-organised tour from Hobart. It was a very convenient way to visit Port Arthur without having to worry about driving, and the stops around the Tasman Peninsula added a lot to the experience. The scenery along the way was beautiful, and there was enough time to explore the Port Arthur Historic Site and enjoy the harbour cruise.
The trip was comfortable, the schedule ran smoothly, and the whole day felt relaxed rather than rushed. Port Arthur itself was fascinating and definitely worth visiting.
A great option for anyone staying in Hobart who wants to see Port Arthur and some of the surrounding sights in one day. Would definitely recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic – Highly Recommend Tassie Tours!

What a fantastic group of people! From the very beginning, booking was so easy, with great communication and emails confirming all the details we needed.
Our host, Skye, was absolutely wonderful. She had so much knowledge about Port Arthur and the surrounding areas, and you could really feel her passion for Tasmania and its history. It made for a fantastic and very enjoyable tour.
But what really showed us the level of service Tassie Tours provides happened after the tour. I accidentally left my bag on the bus with my credit cards and driver’s licence inside. 😳 I rang them as soon as I realised, and within an hour they had located it and contacted me.
By 8:30 the next morning, they had delivered my bag straight back to me! What amazing service and such wonderful people. 👏
I cannot praise Tassie Tours enough. From booking, to the tour itself, to going above and beyond afterwards, the whole experience was exceptional.
A huge thank you to Skye and the Tassie Tours team. We would definitely tour with you again and highly recommend you to anyone visiting Tasmania. ❤️
Response from the operator · PatrickB7199 Thanks for sharing such a wonderful and detailed review.
We are glad you enjoyed the booking experience, the tour with Skye and the service from our team afterwards. We are especially pleased we could help reunite you with your bag so quickly.
We would love to welcome you back to Tasmania again.

Our tour guide Rob was full of witty remarks and provided a good brief on the history of Port Arthur before we arrived. Overall it was a pleasant experience and nothing was rushed. Crowd size was nothing too crazy and was just right.

We are glad you enjoyed the relaxed pace of the day.
Hope to welcome you back to Tassie in the future.
