Many Charleston Ghost Tours have big groups of 25+ - NOT HERE!! We limit our tour sizes to about 12 to keep them fun!
Charleston is one of the most charming and colorful cities in the world; however, when the light fades and shadows grow long, a darker side of the Holy City emerges.
Over the course of just over 1 mile long, our 90 min walk will pass haunted graveyards, churches, alleyways, hotels, restaurants, and bars.
You will hear the real and terrifying stories of ghostly brides, murders, pirates, soldiers, executions, duels, and so much more!
As the night falls over the streets of Charleston, we start by the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and walk through the historic streets where you will hear about real, and active spirits from Charlestons 350 year history like pirates whose lives were cut short at the end of a noose, a young lady who wonders down a particular alley, and a doctor who walks throughout the Holy City.

Best Around Town - Brandon For Mayor!
Johnluke_T, October 2026
Brandon has a special knack for storytelling and knows his South Carolina history well. We were definitely entertained and intrigued by his real-life ghost stories. As someone who had already lived in Cherleston for years, I learned a lot. Thanks Brandon! You were great.

Interesting Tour

Excellent stories and history but a bit too long. And holding onto the "energy" devices went on too long also.

Spooky take on familiar surroundings

Boo! Brannen of Real Hauntings of Charleston was a super guide! I liked how he got to know members of our group quickly, and used that knowledge to enhance our trip. It was a beautiful evening for a stroll down some of Charleston’s historic and spooky streets and alleys. Brannen enhanced some of his stories with actual pictures of specters that were taken at the same places we were standing. There were even some ah-ha moments when he tied facts of different stories together. This trip was a little over an hour and a half, and definitely a value for the price. I would recommend this trip to family and friends. My wife told the group she felt like she was touched on the elbow while he was sharing a story, and he said that was to be expected. Yikes! We went with a group of 6 friends and a good time was had by all!!

Poor experience

This was a terrible tour. It was more of a confusing, all over the place history lesson. We only walked on the outskirts of cemetery‘s. Never got to go in one. There were other groups walking around the cemetery’s that looked more fun. The guide was nice but really wasn’t much of a “ghost” tour at all.
