We had a group of 8 with John, our tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. John was informative and never boring. He also added a lot of humor, always a plus. He offered to take our photos at every stop too. The buffet lunch was excellent, local cuisine of beef, lamb, octopus, squid, and more. Most of us sampled the included local wine and beer. I feel like we learned a lot about the area, great tour!

Despite the bad weather, apart from the lake of fire, that predictably remained hidden under cloud cover; we managed to see everything else, with the sun finally emerging in the afternoon, clouds dispersed, & were able to see & appreciate the beautiful interior. Walks, , villages, volcanic crater lakes, scenery, air con van, & the more than satisfying buffet style lunch & drinks, several options, all perfectly cooked. Quite expensive, but Andreas, our guide, was excellent throughout. If it rains all day, low cloud all day, then unfortunately you'll have spent a lot of money for nothing, & will miss seeing anything, & the option to re-book is not offered.

Our tour guide, Catia, provided lots of information about the area. She paid particular attention to us being comfortable and our needs being met. She learned all of our names and used them when addressing us. The van was very comfortable. Loved that Catia has a headset and the van had a speaker so that we could hear everything that she said. Lunch was plentiful and interesting - lots of traditional foods. The walk in the park was longer than comfortable for some guests, but the reward was stunning views. Very nice tour.

Perfectly beautiful day for this tour, and our tour guide ‘Jo an’ was the best. Not sure I’m spelling his name correctly, but our guide absolutely made this tour, he was so personable and informative and also relayed many legends. The locations we visited are lush green, absolutely beautiful, and the ocean with the basalt formations also so beautiful. Our transportation was by electric van, very nice, and the lunch very enjoyable.
