Delicious Bologna Food Tours aims to provide tourists with an authentic experience, just like a local.
Enjoy 6 stops at selected historical shops and restaurants to taste over 20 local specialties from the Bologna region.
Experience small groups and a local host for a higher quality food tour, where you'll learn about Bologna's culture and traditions.
Discover the proper way to enjoy Bolognese cuisine:
Tortellini should be eaten in broth, not with cream sauce.
Tagliatelle al ragu is the authentic dish, not spaghetti bolognese.
Cappuccino is not a post-lunch drink.
Our Parmigiano Reggiano is distinct from what is commonly known as Parmesan cheese.
And most importantly, our mortadella does not taste like baloney!
When in Bologna, you must try the best tortellini in broth, handmade tagliatelle al ragu, a selection of regional cured meats paired with local wine, and aged Parmigiano Reggiano with Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Our tour also includes a visit to the food market, the main square, the Two Towers, and other key city landmarks.
Please note: Our local cuisine is primarily pork-based. If you are vegetarian, please inform us, and we will substitute cured meats with cheese.

A must in Bologna
Caro397, October 2026
My husband and I have done many food tours in different cities and this was one of, if not the best. A combination of a knowledgable local (thanks Mattia!) who made the tour not only fun but interesting, great food and places chosen that a visitor to the city would not know about. Happy to recommend this tour to anyone.

If you’re going to Bologna, you MUST do this food tour! It was the perfect combination of amazing food, drinks, and a tour of Bologna, with great stories along the way. Mattia’s passion for this city shines through in every part of the experience. We got to try so many of the foods that make Bologna special, and by the end, I was absolutely full and felt like I’d truly experienced the city like a local. Highly recommend!
