Children must be at least 5 years old to participate in this tour. A designated stop will be made for lunch, where you can purchase meals. Restroom facilities are available at scheduled stops along the route. The tour involves minimal walking. Luggage storage is available at the Windermere Information departure point. Individual seats cannot be reserved in advance. Every passenger is required to have their own seat. Please be aware that the tour commences from the Windermere Information Centre at 9:25 AM. Collection from alternative locations is not possible once a pickup point has been chosen. Failure to be at the correct pickup location on time will result in missing the tour, and no alternative arrangements can be offered. Due to the nature of our tours, we are unable to wait for customers who arrive late at their tour start point. If you are late for your tour, our cancellation policy will apply, resulting in a 100% charge with no entitlement to a refund or alternative. Moderate tour with superficial info

Doubtful experience. Some stops were skipped and our guide was -although very friendly- in any case not very knowledgeable historically and just told complete nonsense (such as: Queen Elisabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots were sisters and Anne Boleyn was a French princess. This tour is really only intended to offer people little for a lot of money.

We were initially unsure about going on a guided tour as we usually prefer exploring ourselves, but this trip was absolutely wonderful! We had Steve as our guide and he did an exceptional job educating us along the way about all sorts of stories from the history and folklore of the Lake District to his own life growing up and living here. Highly recommend doing this trip!
