Once a peaceful orchard and Chinese cemetery, this site was tragically transformed by the Khmer Rouge under Pol Pot into the infamous Killing Fields, where an estimated 20,000 individuals were executed. Over a three-year period, the regime was responsible for the massacre and burial of 2.5 million people.
After a moment of reflection for the departed, you will return to Phnom Penh to visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, also known as S21. This former high school, whose name translates to 'Hill of Poisonous Trees,' was converted into a high-security prison by Pol Pot.
Within its walls, 20,000 people were imprisoned, many subjected to torture to extract information. Today, it stands as a museum, serving as a stark reminder of a dark chapter in history.
Your guide will be available to answer any questions you may have throughout the tour and will ensure your safe return to your hotel or guesthouse.

1) We provide free pick up only within 1.7 km from our meeting point (city center).
Please kindly keep in mind that our service is a joined tour; we cannot pick up all travelers at every location in Phnom Penh before the tour starts. We always check the ticket for the traveler's hotel name. If the traveler’s hotel is outside our picking area, we will request the traveler to make their own way by taking a tuk-tuk or Grab to the meeting point.
2) The meeting point is Grand River Sports Bar, or you can type River Crown Restaurant as these two places are in the same building.
3) If a traveler cannot put their hotel name on their ticket, they can send us a message to show us their hotel’s name to check if it is in our picking up area or not. Otherwise, you are required to come to the meeting point and arrive by 7:45 AM for the morning tour and 12:45 PM for the afternoon tour.
4) WhatsApp contact is very important for us. Therefore, before you book, please kindly make sure that you can provide us with your WhatsApp contact or your current Cambodia number.
5) Credit cards are not accepted at the Killing Field and Genocide Museum; travelers must prepare cash.
6) Dress code is mandatory - covering shoulders and knees (not too short and not too long).
