✓We'll do some tastings along the way, with some of our market purchases reserved for our large tasting at the end of the tour.

We booked the Taste of Toulouse tour at the beginning of our 3 week excursion through the rural countryside of South France. This tour, led enthusiastically by Jenn, was the perfect introduction to the foods, wines, and cheese we would encounter during our travels through France. Jenn was an amazing guide taking us through various shops at the Marchè Victor Hugo and surrounding area. She had established numerous relationships with many shop proprietors who each explained the products they sold and provided tastings, Don’t eat lunch before this tour, as you’ll get plenty to eat and drink! Taste of Toulouse was fun, informative, and a perfect way for us to start off our French trip. As a bonus, Jenn provided each of us with an emailed summary of the foods and wine we sampled, restaurant recommendations for the Toulouse area, and even recommendations for visiting the Dordogne area which we would be travelling to later.

This is a must do tour while visiting Toulouse. If you’re lucky enough to get Ally as your tour guide, you won’t be disappointed. She guided us efficiently and effortlessly through the market while explaining all the unique culinary offerings in this region of France. We enjoyed sampling so many delicious foods ranging from baguettes, pastries, cheese, chocolates, meats etc. The wine was also amazing. It was a fun experience!!!
