The ruins were very interesting to see! Also, the Cenote’ and the beachside meal were the highlights of the day I felt. The Cenote was very relaxing and interesting and such a relief from the blazing hot ruins in Tulum. We DID have a great driver and tour guide! The roads.. on the other hand, getting TO the Cenote’ and also getting TO the beachside cafe’ were absolutely awful.. had a couple people in our group that really struggled with motion sickness from them. The Sea Turtles portion I felt was not very good.. it is advertised as snorkeling in a lagoon, with pictures posted that match.. this was a boat that drove us partway out and we jumped into the ocean/bay.. where the waves were a bit overwhelming unless you are a great swimmer.. (yes had lifejackets on, but was still a bit rough) I have no idea but am guessing the water may have been 15-20 feet deep here.. or more.. the weather definitely DID play into it, but also had no overview of how to snorkel.. which it was my first time and I struggled and ultimately swam back to shore exhaustedly. The rest of the group made it in eventually only seeing 1 turtle (visibility In the water was really bad) and complaining about the rough water as well.. Of course the seaweed was really bad, meaning you literally had to tromp through about 3 feet deep of it on the sand to get out of the water. I feel the description is VERY misleading..Out of 5 stars… I would give the sea turtle portion a 1… Tulum a 4. the Cenote and lunch a 5. Also, we had a 1 hour delay in the morning AFTER we had all been picked up.. before being able to go to Tulum because of another tours Van’s mechanical issue.. a 6.5 hr trip turned into a 9 hr somehow. So I would also give the delay and overall length/timing about a 2 star.. Which brings me to the 4 star rating overall.. I think this trip would be best taking out the sea turtle portion.. because also since all 4 events are in different locations it just makes for a long day..

We had such a great time on our Tulum tour! We got to snorkel with the turtles, swim in the cenotes, and see the Mayan ruins, so it was a really fun day with a little bit of everything. Our guide, Gato, was awesome. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day really enjoyable. He kept us laughing, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were having a good time throughout the entire tour. Swimming with the turtles was definitely one of our favorite parts, and the cenotes were beautiful. Seeing the Mayan ruins in person was also really cool and something we’ll remember from our honeymoon. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you get Gato as your guide!
