A wonderful way to experience Bali
pratikvadwala, September 2026
We really enjoyed our downhill cycling tour. The route was mostly downhill, so the cycling was easy and enjoyable, and we were able to take in the beautiful countryside without worrying about much traffic.
What made the experience especially memorable was our guide Dewa. He was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about Bali. Along the way, he told us so much about Balinese life, culture, traditions and the different plants and vegetation we saw. It felt like much more than just a cycling tour — we were getting a real insight into everyday life in Bali.
We particularly enjoyed visiting a local school and a traditional Balinese house. These stops gave us a chance to see a side of Bali that we might not have experienced on our own.
And of course, finishing the ride with a delicious traditional Balinese lunch was the perfect ending to a great morning.
A big thank you to Dewa for making the whole experience so enjoyable, interesting and relaxed.

Great fun for everyone!
pmk_17, September 2026
Great fun for all fitness levels. I have knee issues but because this was downhill it was super easy.
The trick with this experience is to relax into it. They want you to enjoy every moment.
Lunch was surprisingly good, our first taste of proper Indonesian food! The guide even talked me through gluten free options as I am coeliac. It was all delicious and everyone in our group really enjoyed it. There is no rush so you can relax.
The bikes are good quality and they ensure you have the right size. I have short legs but that wasn’t a problem.
Our guide was excellent and even took us into a local house as the school was closed. If we did it again we would take books or lollies for the children. There is absolutely no expectation to do anything like that though.
Riding through the village seeing all the farms and rice fields is incredible. We did an afternoon tour and the sun setting over the rice fields was gorgeous,
It’s so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads and see all the different crops and animals. You can stop any time to take photos and our wonderful guide even took photos and videos for us without us asking.
Seeing the volcano first is spectacular.
I hope read on some platforms that people are over going to coffee plantations but we LOVED our visit as part of this tour. The view is absolutely stunning and the teas and coffees were delicious. Our guide showed us all of the amazing plants on the way through such as peppercorn, vanilla and cacao.
We did not feel rushed or under any pressure to purchase. Seeing the big cats that poo the coffee beans relaxing around the cafe was such a delight too.
We took 2 teenagers on this tour and they absolutely loved it. Great photo opportunities and it was the perfect first activity for us as it helped us understand daily life more.
We felt safe and unhurried the whole time.
It was also incredible value for money as we were out for several hours.
I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Seeing the real Bali
E8643VDjulieb, September 2026
Today we had a fantastic trip cycling with Eddie from Goat tours. We started at Kintamani riding on quiet roads down hill. We strapped at a school then a family compound meeting the family, plus their pig and chickens. We then cycled to an area where we could explore the different stages of growing rice. We rode though local villages and countryside ending with a yummy lunch. An excellent outing, highly recommended. Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
