Explore the black sand beach and Matavai Bay, where explorers first landed in Tahiti. Be guided around this spectacular beach and park to hear the stories of Captain Cook, the transit of Venus, the HMS Bounty and its mutineers, and the arrival of the missionaries. Walk in the footsteps of Marlon Brando, as this was the filming location for his version of 'The Mutiny on the Bounty'.

The breathtaking waterfall in the Valley of Tiare is a highlight of this tour. A short 5-minute walk leads you to the base of the waterfall for a wonderful photo opportunity.

Highly recommend Unique Tahiti!

Our trip to the east coast of Tahiti with Dominic was great. It started off with the extremely clean and comfortable red Mercedes van. Dominic was a wealth of information and took us to places we would have never gone on our own. Highly recommend using Unique Tahiti!
